Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The Relationship Seasons Assessment™ (the "Service") is provided by Shalom Mental Health Corp. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you enter into an agreement with Shalom Mental Health Corp. Contact: support@shalommh.com.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing, or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18 years old.
3. What the Service is
The Service is a digital, self-guided relationship assessment. After purchase you receive a private link to complete the assessment, individual results, and — for couple purchases — a second private link for your partner, a shared couple view once both of you have finished, and accompanying workbooks.
The Service is educational and reflective only. It is not therapy, not a clinical or diagnostic assessment, and not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. It is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
4. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password and your private assessment links confidential, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Licence and restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and its materials for your own personal, non-commercial use within the plan you purchased. You must not resell, redistribute, publish or sublicense the assessment, results or workbooks, use them with clients or groups without a written licence from us, reverse engineer the Service, or circumvent any technical limits.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, coerce, threaten or surveil another person;
- to commit fraud, send spam, or invite someone under a false identity;
- to infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- to interfere with the Service's security or integrity — including malware, probing, penetration testing without permission, scraping, or automated bulk access.
When you invite a partner you confirm you have their permission to use their name and email address for this purpose.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the answers and notes you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process them solely to provide the Service to you (and, for a couple assessment, to generate the shared couple view for both of you).
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and all intellectual property in it, including the assessment framework, questions, scoring, seasons model, results content, workbooks, software, documentation, branding and the Relationship Seasons Assessment™ name. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.
9. Payment, billing and cancellation
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Prices are shown at checkout and may include tax depending on your location. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Access is granted once payment is confirmed, and may be revoked if a payment is reversed, refunded or charged back. See our Refund Policy.
10. Service level
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of inaccuracies, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or a reversed payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where reasonable we will give notice first. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account page; deletion removes your account, assessments and answers, and we recommend downloading anything you want to keep beforehand.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including lost profits, lost data, or relationship, emotional or reputational harm arising from decisions you make based on the Service. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above will change and continued use after an update means you accept it. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
15. General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in force. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Shalom Mental Health Corp. is established, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have locally.
